What the journal receives from a reader

The journal has no account system, comment section, booking form or itinerary upload. You do not provide your name, travel dates, accommodation, payment details or a meeting point to read an article. A planning example is text on a page; it is not an invitation to send your actual plans to the publication.

If you write a plan in a separate document or share it with your group, that happens outside this site. This publication does not receive a copy, synchronise it or set access permissions for it. Consider the arrangements of the application or communication channel you choose, particularly when a plan includes personal travel details.

Delivering a page

Cloudflare Pages hosts the static publication. Opening a page makes a network request, which involves technical data such as the requested URL, connection information and browser-supplied request details. A site with no forms still depends on infrastructure processing to deliver its files.

For information about the hosting provider’s practices, consult the Cloudflare privacy policy. This journal does not state a single retention period for all infrastructure records or claim to manage every separate provider involved in your connection. Such claims would go beyond the configuration described here.

What is loaded in the current pages

The stylesheet and illustrations are local site resources. There is no embedded map, remotely hosted video player, social feed, advertising pixel or visitor analytics script in the current source. The publication does not use a marketing profile to personalise its articles or track an itinerary.

Your browser may keep a history, cache or bookmarks. Those features are controlled through your browser and device settings. A saved page or screenshot is a local copy or a copy within the service where you save it; the journal does not gain access to it merely because its content appears there.

Cookies and technical protections

The publication does not implement its own account, advertising or personalisation cookies. Delivery and security providers may use technical mechanisms in providing their service. The browser’s site-information controls are the place to inspect cookies and permissions presented for the domain and to manage the options available to you.

This is a description of the current site’s limited functions, not a guarantee that visiting a page is anonymous or a certification of legal compliance. Technical delivery, browser storage and voluntary submission to a form are different activities and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Following an official source

Source links are ordinary external links. Opening one takes you to a separate website with its own functions and privacy information. A transport provider may offer tools or transactions that this journal does not. Read that destination’s information before entering personal details or using its services.

The journal configures a referrer policy that limits information passed on cross-origin navigation. It does not control the destination’s processing of the direct connection you make to it. A citation establishes an evidence reference, not a shared account or a common data policy.

If the site changes

Any future function collecting reader information would need its actual operation explained before use. The date above identifies the present description. The terms describe the limits of the planning material, and accessibility describes the navigation features. There is no private booking or support channel created by these pages.
